Euromoney rewarded ING with several awards for excellence: CEE’s best bank for sustainable finance, Netherlands’ best bank; Netherlands’ best bank for corporates; Netherlands’, Germany’s, Poland’s and Korea’s best bank for ESG; and Germany’s best digital bank.

Global Capital awarded this bond award to ING’s ESG Capital Markets team for our expertise in the implementation of our clients’ ESG roadmap in capital markets funding.
Global Finance congratulated ING with winning the regional awards as the best bank for cash management in Central & Eastern Europe and Western Europe, as well as the country award for The Netherlands.
IJGlobal recognised ING for several transactions we partnered in: APAC innovation deal of the year - bonds, APAC refinance deal of the year - data centre, APAC telecoms deal of the year, APAC green loan - data centre, APAC digital infrastructure deal of the year - data centre.
Environmental Finance recognised ING with multiple sustainable debt awards. ING was also awarded green loan and sustainability linked-loan of the year in the Americas.
Global Capital awarded ING with the European securitisation award ‘ESG issuer of the year’. The Green lion 2023 transaction was one of the largest EUR asset backed issuances in 2023 with one of the most granular investor participation.
Global Capital also granted ING with the Syndicated loan award ‘Best arranger of Benelux loans’.
ING has won a series of prestigious Global Finance – Sustainability finance awards. Among others, Best bank for sustainable infrastructure finance, Sustainable project finance and green bonds in Western Europe, and Best bank for transition/sustainability-linked loans in APAC.
Euromoney recognised ING also with three other awards: Best bank of The Netherlands, Best foreign exchange bank ESG initiative and Best bank for ESG in Germany.
Moreover, Global Finance granted ING with various additional sustainable finance awards: Regional winner for sustainable finance, sustainable bonds and ESG-related loans in Western Europe, and Best bank for sustainable finance in The Netherlands.
For the Global Capital bonds awards, ING secured second place for the Financial institutions ESG capital markets awards and James Riley received second place as rising star FIG DCM banker.
Environmental Finance granted the bonds award ‘Sustainability-linked loan of the year, Europe’ to GlobalConnect. This loan involved a complex syndication process, featuring multiple parties, and the amendment of the original loan into an SLL. ING acted as the sole sustainability coordinator.
IFR Asia and IFR Global rewarded ING for our role in The Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited's (HKMC) Bauhinia 1 infrastructure loan-backed securities (ILBS) transaction. ING acted as joint global coordinator and sole sustainable finance adviser.
